It is with great pleasure, that we announce that med call successful finished the European Air Medical Institute (EURAMI) accreditation process and was awarded the full accreditation as „special care“ air ambulance provider.

This accreditation is granted after a thorough external review of training, hiring, equipment, communication and quality control and quality management. It follows med call’s proud tradition as a boutique air ambulance provider, translating high quality, modern critical care medicine into the aviation environment.

med call understands this prestigious accreditation not only as a recognition of the companies long lasting commitment to deliver an excellent standard of care, but also as an incentive to put even more effort in the optimization of our services.

med call was the first air ambulance provider to systematically assess the spread of high resistant bacteria by international patient transports and is currently running a study to shed light on the impact of air transport on the ear drum of unconscious patients. We have developed a scoring system to improve patient safety and dispatch decision making in the alarm center. We will continue to work hard, creative and tireless to improve the safety and comfort of your patients on board our aircraft – stay with us.

As of September 1st. med call has moved into new premises in Idstein. Perfectly located at the motorway A3, we are now only a 20 min drive away from our home base Frankfurt/Main airport and a short 30 min drive from Siegerland airport where maintenance and turboprop operations are located. Abundant storage space for our medical equipment, light flooded offices, open floor plans and ample space with superior meeting and teaching facilities will perfectly support the core competence of med call daily operations: focused teamwork to deliver high quality intensive care medicine to critical ill patients in aeromedical transports at the level of a university hospital.
